In the wake of the outage, flights were grounded, medical services were disrupted, and some broadcasters were forced off air. 

A proposed lawsuit, filed on Tuesday in Austin, Texas, accuses CrowdStrike of misleading investors over the robustness of its software testing.

Crowdstrike’s share price dropped 32% in the 12 days after the crash, wiping out $25 billion (€23.2 billion) of market value.

They are claiming an unspecified amount in damages in a case led by the Plymouth County Retirement Association in Massachusetts.

Millennials and Gen X individuals have a higher risk of 17 different types of cancer, including breast and gastric cancers, according to a new study.

The large study published in The Lancet Public Health also found that the incidence rates increased with each successive generation born since about 1920 for eight out of 34 cancers.

For instance, researchers found that the incidence rate was two-to-three times higher in the millennial 1990 birth cohort than in the 1955 baby boomer birth cohort for pancreatic, kidney, and small intestinal cancers in both men and women.

Shares of the chipmaker, which is set to report quarterly results on Thursday, were up about 1% in extended trading. The stock has slumped 40% so far this year.
