Florida’s Public Colleges Are Told to Ease Transfer for Jewish Students
First of all, he didn’t mention much about his time in Guantánamo, because we knew he was part of JTF and he was a legal adviser. And if you ask me, I think DeSantis is a cruel person. I believe that his mission there was a cover-up, to cover up what happened in 2006.
So, about Fallujah, I don’t think I’m in a position to comment on his time there, but for what I have read and seen, that — we all know what happened in Fallujah, like death of civilians, using depleted uranium and so on. So, I would like to say one word to Americans: Just watch out from that person. You know, he’s someone who bend the truth to serve his own political interest.
— Former Guantánamo prisoner Mansoor Adayfi
Which side of Ron DeSantis’ moldy bread is buttered by AIPAC and old Meyer Lansky Floridians’ supremacy shekels?
But, the memo is out — conversion to Judaism for your college-aged chidlren will get them a ticket to the front of the line, you, know, in that State of Disney, per the Anti-Mickey Mouse Hard On Killer, Ron.
A directive from DeSantis on Tuesday prompted an emergency order from the chancellor of the State University System of Florida. The order instructed each of the state’s 12 public universities to waive transfer-application deadlines and credit-hour requirements for students who demonstrate a “well-founded fear of antisemitic or other religious discrimination” at any out-of-state institutions. Individual colleges will have to determine whether students meet that standard.
The Florida College System, which includes the state’s 28 two-year institutions, is also carrying out the new policy.
The Florida governor himself admitted in a 2018 interview that he was one of the people who suggested force-feeding prisoners, something that many human rights organizations have decried as torture. DeSantis was also sent to Guantánamo the same year that three inmates died, the worst loss of life in the prison’s history. The official report was that the three men died by suicide, but many people, including a former Guantánamo guard, dispute that finding.
Two former detainees have called out DeSantis specifically for his role in the unbearable situation at Guantánamo. One, Abu Sarrah Ahmed Abdel Aziz, told The Washington Post he is “100 percent” certain he spoke to DeSantis multiple times. Abdel Aziz spoke fluent English and was trying to report mistreatment claims to JAG officers.
This war criminal, Ron:
For the university system’s order to be challenged in court, a lawsuit must be brought by someone who has been injured or affected tangibly as a result of the policy, according to Howard M. Wasserman, a professor of law at Florida International University, whose university is affected by the change.
Of course, a story in the Chronicle of MisEducation can’t end their pap without a distinguished Jewish dude putting his two shekels in: Can’t get some non-Jew to challenge this because then it’s bye-bye tenure or your/his/her (very few women have the guts to challenge Israeli and Jewish supremacy) LIFE.
“It really does depend on how the universities put this into effect,” Wasserman said, because the document itself is light on specifics. Until then, he said, “I don’t think we will fully know what it means and therefore we won’t fully know whether or not it’s valid.”
MANSOOR ADAYFI: Yeah, that’s back to 2006. As you know, like — let me give a brief introduction to why we went on hunger strike in the first place. As you know, we were transferred to Guantánamo, spent years without — without any kind — like, until now, without kind of, like, charges or rights and so on. By the end of 2002, General Geoffrey Miller arrived, and he turned the Guantánamo into a experimenting lab. And the situation got only worse every month and every year.
By 2005, we managed to organize like a mass hunger strike, that embarrassed the U.S. government. The camp administration at that time tried to negotiate with us to stop the hunger strike so they can improve the living condition in the camp. We agreed. But it was just they were buying time.
By the beginning of 2006, a new medical team, a new camp staff arrived. One of them was a young — a young, handsome officer, who came to talk to us and told us he was there to ensure that we were being treated humanely. And we talked to him about why we were on hunger strike, what were our demands. It wasn’t jihad, as he said, like. And, you know, what people always try to turn our actions in Guantánamo as like in jihad or al-Qaeda activist cell, that what used to tell us all the time. So, these were our demands. Stop the torture. We were asking for them to improve the living condition in the camp. And he was talking to us and assured us that everything will change, and he will make sure that we be treated humanely.
Only two months, only like, I think, even less, only even less two months later, we were dragged to block — solitary confinement, different camp, different blocks. A new medical team arrived, and they start forcing feed us. And I’m [inaudible] no problem with the force-feeding. They used the force-feeding as a mean of torture. You know, I was taken to a nonformal block in Camp 2. I was tied to a force-feeding chair. Like, I couldn’t move at all. I could only breathe. Guards bring piles of Ensure. And they started with the nurses pouring can of Ensure one after another, like the only way like you eat.
So, during the feeding, a group of officers arrived with the interpreters, with the interrogators, camp staff, medical staff. They were behind the fence. And I saw one of them was Ron DeSantis in a military uniform. And he was — while I was screaming, yelling, because I couldn’t breathe, of the Ensure, and was like — I was bleeding, because they really insert the thick tube through my nose. So, I was, like, calling them, asking, and he was actually laughing, looking at the other officers, and smiling. So, this is my first encounter — second encounter with the Ron DeSantis. The first, before the force-feeding, he came to talk to us and other prisoners. Second time I saw him like twice while on the force-feeding.
And I would like to highlight really important things here. He was there — he wasn’t there, like, to give orders. He wasn’t involved directly in the force-feeding. I didn’t see him give any orders to the guards. But he was there, like, supervising, watching. When I asked other prisoners who were also in the force-feeding if they saw him, they said yes. One of them, at least he told me — he sent me a message. He said he was there, too.

Remember, Jews, Florida is NOT a sanctuary state:
Inspirational, Ron, real Jewish values? — In the name of “parental rights,” the Republican governor has banned instruction on sexual orientation and gender identity and limited what Florida schools can teach about racism and U.S. history. He has exercised control over the pronouns and bathrooms students use. Tenured professors now must undergo regular reviews, as part of sweeping reforms to police “left-wing ideology” and “indoctrination” in higher education.
“So what if Zelenskyy is Jewish? The fact does not negate the Nazi elements in Ukraine. I believe that Hitler also had Jewish blood. It means absolutely nothing. The wise Jewish people said that the most ardent antisemites are usually Jews. Every family has its black sheep, as we say.” —- Sergey Lavrov
Kapos, called Funktionshäftling by the SS, were prisoners who collaborated with the Nazis to serve in leadership or administrative roles over others interned in the same Nazi concentration camp.
Ron wants Jewish Supremacy taught, but not Black History taught: DeSantis also has taken several steps to regulate the teaching of Black history — which other conservative leaders have emulated.
In January, he rejected a new Advanced Placement course on African American studies, saying it was not “historically accurate” and violated the Stop Woke Act — a 2022 Florida law that limits the way gender and race are discussed in classrooms and workplaces.
Following Florida’s lead, Arkansas officials announced objections to the course earlier this week, but several school districts have pushed back, saying they still plan to offer the AP course. North Dakota, Mississippi and Virginia said earlier this year they plan to review the course material before deciding if it can be taught in their schools.
Is it this Zionist Nazi history Ron is okay with?
Florida? Haven for Jews?
Moses Levy purchased over 50,000 acres in 1820 in Alachua County in Northern Florida, which eventually grew to 100,000 acres. He constructed three properties: A sugar cane plantation on the Matanzas River, the Hope Hill plantation in present-day Astor, and Pilgrimage, a few miles from Micanopy. Levy’s dream started to come to fruition in 1823 when his business partner, Frederick Warburg, arrived with 21 settlers.
However, the community only lasted 13 years until the Second Seminole War broke out in 1835. At that point, the community dispersed.
Although it was a financial failure for Levy, it was successful in that it was the first Jewish farming settlement in the United States and created possibilities for persecuted Jews from Europe. The Jewish colony he built in Micanopy is today home to the University of Florida. In an interesting turn of history, this University has the largest Jewish population of any public university in the United States.
Those chickens coming home to roost?
The primary reason for the small Jewish population in South Florida was the very visible antisemitism.
It was common to see signs in Miami and Miami Beach that read “Gentiles Only” or “No Jews or Dogs.” Wealthy and influential developers, including Highway builder and Entrepreneur Carl G. Fisher’s refused to serve Jewish customers and Oil and Railroad Mogul Henry Flagler (1830-1913) prohibited land sales and hotel lodgings to Jewish clients.
By the 1930s, advertisements for some of Miami Beach's oceanfront hotels said, "Always a view, never a Jew."
In Miami Beach, Jews were only permitted to live south of Fifth Street, as developers placed restrictive covenants in their land deeds prohibiting the sale of Miami Beach lots to Jews north of Fifth Street. Resourceful Jews did purchases modest hotels and apartments on property south of Fifth Street, but the overall feeling was of antisemitism.
The discriminatory laws began easing up in the 1930s and officially ended in 1949.
DeSantis loves school (taxpayer funded) vouchers for Orthodox radicals: Recently, there has been an explosive growth of South Florida’s Orthodox Jewish Community.
South Florida has hundreds of Orthodox shuls and Chabad centers, and dozens of Orthodox schools, and yeshivas. There are over 5000 children in Orthodox schools that benefit from the school-voucher system in Florida. There are advanced learning Kollels, Jewish outreach centers, and numerous kosher restaurants. In the winter, Chassidim from New York, including prominent rebbes and tens of thousands of Orthodox Jews from places like Brooklyn, Lakewood and Chicago visit for days or weeks in South Florida. (The Surfside tragedy recalls South Florida’s long hold on the Jewish imagination and reality)
Lansky was born Meier Suchowlański in Belarus on July 4, 1902 to a poor Polish family that faced persecution and pogroms. Meyer arrived at the Lower East Side of Manhattan in 1911. A voracious reader, he also quickly exhibited the remarkable math and gambling skills that helped him become “the mob’s accountant” as he rose to increasing influence in the organized crime syndicate.
During the pre-World War II decades, attacks on Jews became rather virulent in parts of the country. Several religious broadcasters in the Midwest openly targeted Jews as undesirable, and the Brown Shirts in New York and the Silver Shirts in Minneapolis attacked Jews in the streets. Though not religiously observant, several Jewish gangsters noted the lack of strong response from organized Jewish leadership and decided to step up to protect Jewish communities.
First, upon the request of New York State Judge Nathan Perlman, Lansky was asked to break up the rallies of the German-American Bund in New York City, provided that Lansky’s “toughs” would not kill anyone. Lansky would have preferred to knock off some American Nazis, but he agreed and further advised he would take no payment, stating, “I was a Jew and felt for those Jews in Europe who were suffering. They were my brothers.” Prof. Rockaway notes that “Nazi arms, legs, and ribs were broken and skulls were cracked, but no one died.”
Lansky described breaking up one Brown Shirt rally in Manhattan: “The stage was decorated with a swastika and a picture of Hitler. The speaker started ranting. There were only fifteen of us, but we went into action. We threw some of them out the windows. Most of the Nazis panicked and ran out. We chased them and beat them up. We wanted to show them that the Jews would not always sit back and accept insults.”
Gambling honcho David Berman and his allies similarly broke up rallies of the Silver Shirts in Minneapolis, who sought to replicate Hitler’s Brown Shirts in Germany and Mussolini’s Black Shirts in Italy by attacking “Jewish communists” in America. After three public meetings were violently disrupted, the Silver Shirts halted their campaign to demonize American Jewry.
Next, continuing his anti-Nazi efforts during World War II, Lansky led the efforts to assist the US Office of Naval Intelligence to identity German infiltrators and submarine-borne saboteurs. In exchange for the release of his friend Luciano from prison, Lansky’s men provided security for US warships being built in the docks of New York Harbor. German submarines were sinking allied ships along the eastern seaboard and the mob went to work to infiltrate, identify, and inform on pro-Nazi supporters on the New York waterfront.
Further, both Meyer Lansky and his partner Bugsy Siegel helped the nascent Jewish State of Israel. One reported meeting took place between Bugsy and Reuven Dafne, the emissary of the Haganah, in 1945. Jews were seeking funds and weapons to liberate Palestine from British control. Bugsy said, “You mean to tell me Jews are fighting? You mean fighting as in killing?” When told yes, Siegel said, “I’m with you.” He quietly provided suitcases full of cash in support.
Bugsy Siegel, Meyer Lansky’s boyhood friend, went on to become the most famous of Jewish gangsters. As teenagers, they created the Bugs and Meyer Mob. Lansky served as the brains of the outfit, with Siegel providing the brawn. Siegel was the youngest member of the gang, known as the vilda chaya, yiddish for “wild animal[s],” which engaged in illicit activities like prostitution, gambling, loan sharking, bootlegging and labor racketeering.
In 1937, Bugsy moved his gambling rackets to California, where he befriended Hollywood moguls and starlets, borrowing money from several celebrities whom he never repaid. He dated actress Virginia Hill, an underworld moll herself who helped Bugsy’s bosses back east keep an eye on him. In 1945, Siegel and Hill came to Las Vegas to build a gambling mecca in the Nevada desert, starting with the Flamingo Hotel and Casino, funded by the eastern crime syndicate with $1.5 million.
Unfortunately, after Bugsy ran up debts of some $6 million through theft and mismanagement, all of Lansky’s defenses of his longtime pal proved insufficient to prevent the mob hit ordered by the syndicate. On June 20, 1947, Siegel was shot four times as he sat on a sofa in Hill’s Beverly Hills home while reading the Los Angeles Times.
The mob accelerated the development of the Las Vegas strip of casino hotels and ruled the town for decades until its replacement by corporate management. Famed mobster turned developer Moe Dalitz was given the key to Las Vegas in 1979. Over recent decades Jewish leadership in building Las Vegas included not only the mayors Goodman but also Steve Wynn, the visionary casino creator who was financed by the junk bonds created by investment banker and humanitarian Michael Milken, as well as the developers of the world’s largest hotel, Jewish philanthropists Sheldon and Dr. Miriam Adelson.
Lansky’s life was complex and brutal. His victims must be remembered and respected.
His personal life was marked by the ups and downs of family life; including a son, Paul, who attended the US Military Academy at West Point and then joined the US Air Force and served in Vietnam; and another son, Buddy, who sadly suffered from cerebral palsy. He also had a daughter, Sandi Lansky Lombardo, who grew up with wealth, parties, and private schools, as described in her own autobiography, “Daughter of the King: Growing Up in Gangland.”
Perhaps the most compelling scene in “Lansky” focuses on his attempted emigration to Israel in the early 1970s, where he sought to avoid tax evasion prosecution in the United States by appealing for citizenship under the Law of Return. Denied asylum by Golda Meir, who faced pressure from American authorities, Lansky bitterly recounted that his early support of Israel was not reciprocated at his most critical time of need.
Lansky managed to evade US prosecution, however, and live as a free man to age 80. Through his highs and lows, his fortunes and misfortunes, Lansky appeared at the end of his life as an intelligent and introspective figure. He never changed perspective, holding firm as a “tough Jew” to his motto, “life is shades of grey, not black and white.”
Smiling as he slowly walks into the sunset along the beach in Miami, with the Feds having quit their chase for his never-found (and always denied) remaining riches, Lansky survived and thrived on his own terms. He left a disturbing legacy of inexcusable violence, but endures as a humanized figure of intense fascination for the American public, and not least for American Jewry, whose communal legacy includes several bigtime gangsters with humble Yiddish roots who fought against some of the Jews’ worst enemies.

Colombia and Brazil join a growing list of countries that has expressed support for South Africa’s case accusing Israel of genocide
Do not underestimate the Lawyering Up of Jewish Gangsters:
Jew on Jew violence:
At a pro-democracy rally denouncing January 6 (because that’s what our politicians still do three years later), Jamie Raskin and his crowd held signs that read “NOT ABOVE THE LAW.” And if you foolishly thought that these signs meant that in a democracy, no one is above the law, you’d be wrong.
Only Jamie Raskin gets to decide that.
When Code Pink’s Medea Benjamin silently stood behind Raskin with a similar sign with just one word added, he had her immediately dragged away. “ISRAEL: NOT ABOVE THE LAW” it read. She learned the hard way that if Jamie Raskin do not pronounce it so, then be it not true.

South Africa Makes its Genocide Case against Israel at The Hague:
“The U.S., Israel’s chief sponsor and defender, has dismissed South Africa’s charges as ‘meritless.’ There is a solid, though not certain, likelihood that the court will issue a ruling finding a basis to move forward with actual genocide proceedings against Israel, a legal process that could take years to complete. But South Africa has also argued that the court should issue provisional measures to protect the Palestinians of Gaza against ongoing attacks, citing voluminous evidence that Israel is engaged in ongoing violations of the Genocide Convention. ‘Israel has engaged in, is engaging in and risks further engaging in genocidal acts against the Palestinian people in Gaza,’ the filing argues.”
