Nine-month-old babies must receive multiple doses of an unlicensed mRNA COVID-19 vaccine to be considered “up to date” with their COVID-19 vaccination, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The CDC’s updated guidance, issued Aug. 30, states that children — as young as 6 months old — should get either two doses of the 2024-2025 Moderna vaccine or three doses of the 2024-2025 Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.

If getting the new Pfizer shot, the baby is supposed to receive the first dose at 6 months, the second dose three weeks later and the third dose at least eight weeks after the second dose — meaning, that by 9 months old, babies are supposed to have received three Pfizer shots.

If getting the latest Moderna shot, the CDC recommends babies get the first dose at age 6 months and the second dose a month later.

The latest Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 shots for children under 12 are unlicensed in the U.S. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted only emergency use authorization (EUA) for the vaccines.

Not something new to them

Back in December, in a heart-wrenching statement, the Government Media Office in Gaza revealed that the Israeli occupation forces handed over the mutilated bodies of 80 martyrs after stealing their organs, adding that the bodies were unidentified and the occupation refused to specify the names of these martyrs or the places from which they were stolen.

The occupation repeated the crime of stealing organs more than once during its real-time genocidal war, as per the statement.

It was highlighted that the Israeli occupation forces were involved in a grave crime, specifically the kidnapping of the bodies of Palestinian martyrs and the theft of their vital organs.

Even back in November, the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor reported that the Israeli army is holding the bodies of numerous Palestinians as it called for an independent international investigation into organ theft.

Euro-Med documented that the Israeli army seized dozens of bodies from Al-Shifa Medical Complex, the Indonesian Hospital, and the vicinity of the designated "safe corridor" for forcibly displaced people.

Concerns about organ theft arose after medical professionals in Gaza found evidence of missing cochleas, corneas, and vital organs, such as livers, kidneys, and hearts, during quick examinations.

"Israel" has a long history of withholding Palestinian bodies and storing them in covert mass graves, referred to as "enemy combatant graves." These graves, situated in closed military zones, are marked only with metal plates. The organization cited at least 145 Palestinians' remains in Israeli morgues, approximately 255 in the "Numbers Cemetery" near the Jordanian border, and 75 missing individuals unidentified by "Israel". 

NYT Finds 'Disproportionate Role' of Israelis in World Organ Trafficking

NYT identifies six patients who underwent kidney transplants in Costa Rica and three Israeli men it says are involved in trafficking.

A University of California, Berkeley, medical anthropologist is helping authorities in Brazil, Israel and South Africa investigate what she calls a shocking new "slave triangle" in which the poor are being taken to distant cities by criminal syndicates and coerced into selling their organs for illegal transplants.

"For the first time in investigations of human trafficking, doctors are being arrested and hospitals cited," said Nancy Scheper-Hughes, director of Organs Watch, a UC Berkeley-based documentation and research project. "These arrests have traffickers very nervous."

Israelis have a "disproportionate role" in the seamy world of international organ-trafficking, according to a comprehensive New York Times investigative report on global organ trade.

Two years ago, the report states, the family of Ophira Dorin, a 36-year-old Israeli woman with kidney disease, began looking for a way to bypass the long waiting list for an organ and soon came found three Israeli organ brokers whose reach purportedly extends to Central America.  

It wasn't an easy task, the report said, but Dorin's mother, who works in a hospital, managed to make a contact with the three brokers, whom the Times names as Yaakov "Koby" Dayan, a businessman in his late fifties who takes an interest in real estate and marketing; Avigad Sandler, a 65-year-old insurance agent who was an IDF officer; and 30-year-old Boris Volfman, an emigrant from Ukraine and Avigad's protégé, who runs his own transplant tourism agency.

All three are active operators in Israel's underground kidney market, according to the Times.

For years, the three had paired Israeli patients with donors from abroad, according to the report. They claim that their activities were legal and that their involvement in the organ transplants was strictly indirect. According to the New York Times report, the prominence of Israelis in the global organ trade can be attributed at least partly to an unavailability of organs for transplantation, as a result of Jewish law prohibitions.

"When someone needs an organ transplant, they’ll do everything in their power,” the report cites Meir Broder, a legal adviser to Israel’s Ministry of Health, as saying.

“Pfizer’s own ‘fact sheet’ for its latest COVID-19 vaccine appears to give a more accurate picture [of the vaccine’s risks] than the CDC’s own websites,” Brian Hooker said. “Shouldn’t the CDC be more a watchdog than Pfizer?”

For example, Pfizer’s fact sheet states, “A product authorized for emergency use has not undergone the same type of review by FDA as an FDA-approved product.”

The Pfizer fact sheet also acknowledges that its vaccine “may not protect everyone” and that reported side effects associated with the Pfizer vaccines include myocarditis and pericarditis.

Hooker pointed out that research has shown that vaccine-induced myocarditis, inflammation of the heart, and pericarditis, inflammation of the tissue surrounding the heart can be fatal.

He urged parents to “read between the lines” when assessing the CDC’s COVID-19 vaccination recommendation for babies and children.

Those who have been able to access the hospital can find themselves trapped there. Remah al-Dami, a mother of three from the Jenin refugee camp, arrived at the Khalil Suleiman Hospital for an appointment for two of her children last week, shortly before the massive Israeli incursion. Since then, she has been prevented by Israeli forces from returning to her home in the al-Hawashin neighborhood in the camp despite several attempts. She has been forced to live in the hospital for the past week with two of her children, unable to be with her five-month-old son and with little communication as a result of power and internet outages.

“These are the hardest days of my life,” she told Drop Site. “This is the first time I have been away from my children. I don’t know who to tell, who to turn to. I want my son.”

Israeli troops have also been forcibly displacing residents from their homes at gunpoint, with some areas in the camp having been almost entirely emptied, including Saha, New Camp, and Joret al-Dahab. Normally a bustling, crowded city, Jenin’s streets are now empty, with residents staying indoors for safety. The sounds of explosions and gunfire fill the streets amid the steady rumble of the bulldozers. Dozens of residents have been arrested from the street or in house raids.

Over a million doses of polio vaccine have been shipped to Israel in preparation for a mass vaccination campaign in Gaza. The vaccines are an emergency response to the first confirmed case of polio reported in Gaza last month. According to an article in the New York Times:

UNICEF, the U.N. children’s fund, said it was delivering the vaccines in cooperation with the World Health Organization… UNRWA; and other groups. UNRWA officials said they hoped to deliver the first vaccines to Gazan children starting on Saturday….

The Gaza Health Ministry confirmed that the vaccines had reached Gaza and that preparations to begin the campaign to inoculate children under 10 were underway…. the U.N. said on Monday that its already hamstrung humanitarian operations had been brought to a temporary halt after the Israeli military ordered the evacuation of Deir al-Balah, where the agency has its central operations.

So, the UN is unable to distribute humanitarian aid to the Palestinians, but they are charging ahead with a mass vaccination campaign?

Doesn’t that sound a bit strange? Keep in mind, the Israelis have been preventing food, water and medicine from entering Gaza for months which has led to mass starvation and a sharp uptick in preventable diseases. But now we are expected to believe that they care about the physical well-being of the people they have been bombing to smithereens for the last 10 months?

Among her remedies, Judge Kessler ordered the tobacco companies to publish “corrective statements” that tell the American public the truth about the deadly consequences of smoking and secondhand smoke and the addictiveness of smoking. These corrective statements were ordered to appear in newspapers, TV ads, the companies’ websites, cigarette packs and retail stores next to cigarette displays.

The tobacco companies have waged a long legal battle to weaken and delay these corrective statements, including fighting for more than 16 years against the requirement to post the statements in stores.

However, under a court order issued in December 2022, the tobacco companies must finally place corrective statement signs in more than 200,000 stores that sell cigarettes. The signs must be posted between July 1 and September 30, 2023, and will remain in stores for 21 months. The signs will be in both English and Spanish, with the latter required in geographic areas with significant Spanish-speaking populations.

Tobacco smoking is a chief cause of preventable deaths worldwide, accounting for various cancers, cardiovascular and respiratory diseases. Tobacco smoking accounts for more than seven million deaths every year. Worldwide statistics show that about 1.1 billion active smokers exist; 80% live in low- and middle-income countries.

The Palestine Red Crescent issued a statement on Monday expressing its “deep concern and disappointment” with Israeli authorities’ for “actively impeding PRCS medical missions’ access to casualties and patients across various areas in the city, mainly in the Jenin Refugee Camp.” The group said Israeli troops have “directly targeted” ambulances, injuring two medical workers and a volunteer doctor. “Our teams have been prevented from transporting various casualties, patients and elderly suffering from chronic diseases, and women in labor. The further marginalization of already vulnerable communities renders the area uninhabitable.”
